The world is a much smaller place today and this means that it is easier to get married in a beautiful location almost anywhere in the world to make a wedding extra special. This trend is also affecting larger numbers of Americans who now get married outside of their country. It is now quite normal for them to book a Caribbean beach wedding and not even consider having at in their own country. It appears that the most likely explanation for this gradual change is the fantastic beaches to be found all over the Caribbean which surpass those generally found of the mainland.
There is also the wonderful climate found among the Caribbean islands which is suitable for a wedding all year long making it often more convenient to arrange than a ‘home grown’ affair. Mostly though, the location of a tropical beach, the colors and atmosphere are the real convincing reasons why this is a perfectly romantic location. There are even some of the all inclusive resorts on these islands which now offer couples the chance of a free Caribbean beach wedding package if they book their honeymoon at their particular resort. This can be doubly convenient where the wedding and the honeymoon can happen at the same venue.
Most couples will be provided with a location within the resorts development that is located in a secluded part of it and away from those that have attended the happy event. The only thing to be considered really is the individual legal requirements of the island you intend to have your Caribbean beach wedding on. To ensure it all runs smoothly, you would be wise to find out what legal matters need to be attended to well in advance of your travel date.
You may find that you have to wait a certain period before the marriage can take place and you will also in all possibility need to obtain a marriage license as well. Quite often there is a large difference in the cost of these wedding licenses which can range anywhere from fifty to three hundred dollars. It is also important that each couple is aware of the passport regulations and ensure that theirs are valid prior to them flying to the Island of their choice for their Caribbean beach wedding. The last thing you want is to be refused entry to the island you have especially chosen because one or both passports are invalid.
